Abstract:Three calculation theories of the parabolic method, the segmented catenary method and the section line method are introduced. Three methods to calculate the bridge main cable coordinates and empty cable coordinates of the ground-anchored suspension bridge are used. The calculation result of segmented catenary method as the standards of verification, the advantages and disadvantages of the nodal method based on Midas/Civil 2019 software in the linear analysis process of the ground-anchored suspension bridge are described. The calculation of the main cable shape based on the nodal line method is the approximate calculation of numerical iteration is based on the node balance. The result is in line with the engineering practice and has certain practical significance for design and construction.
