In order to investigate the relationship between the optimal inclination angle and the parameters such as rise-span ratio,width-span ratio and transverse brace of arch bridge structure,a refined spatial finite element model was established based on a mid-through dumbbell-shaped basketcarrying arch bridge. Considering the geometric nonlinear factors,the stability safety factor under various structural conditions were calculated. The influence of structural parameters of the semi-bearing basket-like arch bridge on the optimal inclination angle was studied according to the change law of the safety factor. The results found that the value of the optimal inclination angle is negatively correlated with the rise-span ratio,positively correlated with the width-span ratio,and has ting correlation with the number of cross braces. The research can provide a useful reference for the determination of the inclination angle of similar basket-carrying arch bridge.
